Biography
Dr. Shannon Barnes Martin is a nurse informaticist and healthcare technology leader with over 20 years of nursing experience across pediatrics, nephrology, medical-surgical care, and more. She currently serves as Principal Nurse Experience Manager at Microsoft, leading nursing initiatives and generative AI adoption in healthcare. Dr. Martin is also dedicated to community outreach through organizations including Girls Who Code and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
