Biography

Kobie has been a General Partner at Upfront since 2016, where he focuses on applied AI and next generation human computer interaction platforms. Over more than two decades in venture capital, he has held key roles at Accel, OpenView Venture Partners, and Insight Venture Partners, backing category-defining companies including ExactTarget (acquired by Salesforce for $2.5B), UserTesting (IPO and $1.3B exit), and Oculus (acquired by Meta for $2B). At Upfront, his current investments include Sandbar, Laurel, Cordial, Martie and a growing set of companies shaping the future of AI-enabled work.
