Biography

Michellene Davis leads National Medical Fellowships, the country’s oldest health equity organization, working at what she calls the intersection of wealth and health. She was the first woman and first person of color to become Executive Vice President in RWJBarnabas Health’s 152-year history, and before that was the first African American to serve as New Jersey’s Acting State Treasurer, overseeing a $30 billion budget and a $70 billion pension portfolio.
